Yaqhob Zourofchi, one of the greatest Azerbaijani vocalist of our time, started his singing career at the age of eight in Tabriz. After his vocal training at The Academy of Arts in Tabriz, he studied classical vocals and opera for seven years under the guidance of several great instructors: Mr. Rezazadeh, Jinini from Italy and William McKenny from England. He traveled to Germany and in 1981 performed a concert with the master Rashid Behboodov, in the city of Mannheim, Germany. He later continued his vocal training at the University of Hamburg and received his masters. The turning point in his professional career was in 1989 when he performed for an audience of over one million people at Freedom Square in Baku, Azerbaijan. He has over a dozen albums released in the United and States and across the world. Zourofchi's exceptional ability and command in singing the tenor range makes him one of the most significant musicians of our time. 

There are a number of Azerbaijani dances ( Azerbaycan Reqsleri), these folk dance of the Azerbaijani peple are old and extremely melodious. It is performed at formal celebrations and the dancers wear festival clothes or Chokha cloaks. It has a very fast rhythm, so the dancer must have inherent skill.

Azerbaijans national dance shows the characteristics of the Azerbaijani nation. These dances differ from other dances with its quick temp and optimism. And this talks about nations braveness. The national clothes of Azerbaijan are well preserved within the national dances.
