The Gallery derives its name from its original purpose: an art gallery. Formerly the home of
the Art Gallery of North York, and then the prestigious Museum of Contemporary Canadian
Art, the Gallery is now one of our most sought after spaces. Its high ceilings,
huge windows, and beautiful hardwood floors make it a bright and versatile space – a blank
canvas waiting to be painted.
Capacity varies, dependant on configuration:
110 – Standing Cocktail Reception
104 – Lecture or Concert
90 – Seated Dinner or Meeting
The Gallery also boasts acoustic paneling and a Mason and Hamlin Baby Grand Piano – perfect for a cocktail reception or recital! – as well as an interior stairwell leading to its sister space, the Piano Lounge. These spaces may be used in conjunction or separately from each other, but always impress, no matter the combination! Joint uses of the space have included weddings, corporate meetings, and events.
